A brand that I love!

Oh Solvil et Titus! A legendary name in Swiss watchmaking, was founded in 1887 by Paul Bernard Ditisheim (1868-1945), long revered as the originator of modern chronometry. “Solvil” refers to the village of Sonvilier on the Swiss side of the Jura Mountains, where a factory produced meticulously crafted watch components; while “Titus” pays tribute to the Roman emperor in the first century AD.

I really love to see this watch because it's really attract my attention. It's so beautiful and fancy watch. It's really nice to wear and suit to everyone. I only dream to wear it but I know that one fine day I'll wear it. I really attract to the design, the beads look so shiny, the colour look so classic mix with the white line. The brand name in the middle of the watch make the watch more gorgeous. It's so perfect with the date, day and seconds in the middle of the watch. I think when I'm wear it, it must be so cool in my hand. Sometimes, when we have a beautiful watch, we will appreciate the time and not waste the time. People say that the dream will come truth. I believe that when I've a great work one day, I'll buy it for myself.

HUMAN RELY ON TECHNOLOGY SO MUCH IS BAD

Nowadays, people depends too much on technology. In today's society, people use computers in business, education and in the entertainment world. Almost everything we do and every aspect of our life is affected by modern technology with computers at the top of the list. People obsess our technology. The technology do everything for us so we don't have to use our brains anymore. People are losing their jobs due to the computers moving into the workplace. They are making society dumber by the day. Society today is too dependent on technology because we use them for everything, we don't have the social interaction that we once had and technology makes us lazy.

The fact is technology has a lot of issues including the possibility of being hacked and the challenge of glitches and errors that are bound to happen. I fear that we are over relying on technology thinking that in the future we won’t have to do anything for ourselves. The question is, will our over reliance on technology come back to bite us in the future?

If we rely solely on technology for things like automating farming or operating autonomous cars, what happens when the technology breaks down or it gets hacked? If we put too much reliance on technology alone I worry that it will make us less human or distort our reality. We don’t take things at face value anymore, we are moving away from making judgements and decisions on our own by using our senses and thoughts. Instead we are looking at the world through the eyes of data and algorithms and basing our decisions on what technology tells us.

3 BEST MEAL YOU MUST TRY IN JOHOR!

Mee Bandung is a famous traditional cuisine and food from Muar, Johor, Malaysia which is my hometown! The word 'bandung' in its name stems from the meaning of the word which means double or twin or paired where something is coupled or mixed with something else.

For Mee Bandung, it is a pair of noodle and egg dishes only when it was so called, along with a mixture of chili and onion with spices, shrubs and dried prawns ; before it is now supplemented by additional ingredients such as shrimp, meat, fish cakes and vegetables now. It is also more popular and commonly known as Mee Bandung Muar which has became a popular and favourite food all over Malaysia although it is acknowleged that many original Mee Bandung originated from Muar is still the best.

Laksa Johor is a dish that combines coconut milk, using kerisik, asam gelugur, dried prawns, lemon grass, galangal and spices akin to curry. The garnishing comprises slices of onion, beansprout, mint leaves, Viatnamese coriander or daun kesum, cucumber and pickled white radish. Sambal Belacan is a kind of chili paste that is placed on the side. Before eating, freshly squeezed lime juice is sprinkled on the dish. Unique to Laksa Johor is its italian connection-spaghetti is used instead of the normal rice noodles or vermicelli. Laksa Johor has been declared a Malaysian heritage food by the Malaysian Department of National Heritage.

If you are in Johor, then you must try Kacang Pool Haji at Johor Bahru. It is the best to try it as your breakfast. As this dish is adapted from the Middle Eastern way of eating fava bean, I think the name Kacang Pool most likely got its name from the Egyptian word foul for fava bean.

Kacang Pool can be described as the Johor version of chili con carne, a foul bean and minced beef stew that is savoured with chunks of toasted bread. This stew is served topped with sunny-side-up egg, chopped freah onions and fresh green chillies with freshly squeezed lime.

This top three favourite dish that I love to try when I am in Johor is the recommended one for the tourist to try our local food.

SAYANGI MALAYSIAKU!

' Sayangi Malaysiaku ' is 2018's theme for National Day celebration that our Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, have been announced at the cabinet meeting on 30 May 2018.

This logo means that multiracial Malaysian citizen that lives in a peace, united and cherished the love of the country. This logo was created by Nik Zulkifli Nik Hitam that have been choosen 25 July 2018.

We need to be proud of our Malaysia because Malaysia is one of the country that contain multiracial. We lived in peace for a long time and we respect each other without any cultural differences.

Since our independence 61 years ago, the country's tremendous stages are something that we should be proud of. Not only it is the subject of its advanced architecture, the economics and technology that Malaysia has among the most advanced in Southeast Asia, but Malaysia is also an example to other countries.

Undeniable the beauty of Malaysia lies in its strategic location. Attractive tourist locations such as islands and historic places make Malaysia among the top 10 countries visited by the tourists each year.

Malaysia is located on the Equator line which is one of the strategically located locations. Not located in Pacific Fire Circle, Malaysia is spared from volcanoes and does not face the earthquake, often making Malaysia among the safest countries to occupy.

In conclusion, we should love Malaysia as our theme of independence this year. Indeed we are very lucky to be part of the Malaysian.
